Governor Jerry Singson sent off 22 strong men from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Bantay Barangay and Philiipine Navy, Naval Forces of Northern Luzon to help in the search and rescue operation in Ilocos Norte. This is in response to the request of Governor Matthew Manotoc.

Governor Jerry Singson opened the Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center as an evacuation center to increasing affected families of Vigan City and Caoayan Ilocos Sur.

Governor Jerry Singson opened the Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center as an evacuation center to increasing affected families of Vigan City and Caoayan Ilocos Sur. One hundred forty-one individuals and counting were accommodated as of the moment at the PFLDC. The Provincial Social Welfare and Development provided food for the evacuees.

The Philippine Navy, through Naval Forces Northern Luzon personnel, arrived in Ilocos Sur to lend humanitarian and disaster response. They were welcomed by Governor Jerry Singson through Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda and Navy Reservist Vice Governor Ryan Singson who personally joined the rescue operation.
