The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur came together as one participating the International Coastal Cleanup Day in the 18 coastal municipalities of Ilocos Sur thru the program DALLUYON. PGIS employees and National Government Agencies joined forces in gathering and collecting coastal waste as part of the effort to raise awareness in keeping the coastline clean.

National Environmemt Month
In celebration of the National Environmemt Month, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur thru the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office initiated coastal clean-up and tree planting to Brgy. Manzante, Miramar, Namalpalan, Pagsanaan Sur and Pagsanaan Norte of Magsingal.
