The two-day motor racing activity of the Ilocos Sur Kannawidan Festival 2023 at the Sta. Catalina Beach Diversion Road was participated by almost 300 racers from the different racing clubs and motor cycle enthusiasts all over the country. Ten categories were offered for the said racing event.

About 340 entries from the different categories participated in the Ilocos Sur Kannawidan Festival Motocross Cup 2023 at Salcedo. Students representing their very own municipalities displayed their skills, talents, and wit to the various competitions such as the essay writing, extemporaneous speaking, poster slogan making, and oratorical contest as part of the Education and Learning Day of the 16th year of the Kannawidan Festival.

A list of potential punchers in the boxing history of Ilcoos Sur bravely stepped on the ring for a fight during the Ilocos Sur Kannawidan Festival 2023 One Boxing Fight Men and LGBT. Eighteen amateur bouts completed the boxing fight at the San Vicente Gymnasium.
