In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur piloted the PGIS for Young Ilocos Surians at Butir Elementary School, Sta. Maria.

A lecture series was conducted about the basic rights of children fostering proper management of early childhood care and development, and oral healthcare awareness followed by oral check-ups.

PGIS also distributed school supplies, hygiene kits, food packs, and family kits to students and teachers of Butir Elementary School.

This signifies the commitment of the provincial government to build a better world for generations, providing valuable insights to children and empowering them. It is a testament to the belief that every child deserves opportunities to thrive.

Governor Jerry Singson was represented by SPM Mildred Elaydo in this activity.
