Led by Governor Jerry Singson, Ilocos Sur celebrated a bountiful onion harvest with its first-ever Onion Harvest Festival at Pantay Tamurong, Caoayan.

The festival aims to honor the efforts of the farmers to ensure a sufficient supply of onions not only for Ilocos Sur but also for other provinces.
