A rhythm of celebration started when Ilocos Sur Festival 2024 formally opens with a holy mass led by Governor Jerry Singson, Vice Governor Ryan Singson and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members followed by a procession participated by employees of PGIS, national government agencies, civil society groups and private sectors.

Ilocos Sur Dancing Fountain amazed the public with its renovated open fountain, more so with the 3D mapping along with the grand fireworks display at the PFLDC Frontage. On the latter part, singer Nina inspired the audience with her songs.

“Just like any other festival, the government, the private and the general public are upstanding this evening to anticipate the inauguration of our 18-day – the largest, the happiest and the grandest observance of the heritage tradition and the ever-evolving culture of the province, the people and its practice.” A part of Governor Jerry Singson’s message for all.
