Tarayem Ilocos in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur successfully conducted the challenging 2024 Battle of Bessang Pass 65k Ultra Marathon, 9th Edition.

Twenty-eight runners joined the event which started in Candon City leading to the peak of Bessang Pass.

Previous record was championed by Danilo Macairap having a total time of 7:00:58 but was broken by this year’s champ Paolo Aquino crossing the line with a time of 06:28:17.
