Hog raisers affected by African Swine Fever (ASF) in Ilocos Sur received aid from the Department of Agriculture’s 27 million pesos Indemnification Fund. Raisers from Cervantes, Quirino, Candon City, Sta. Lucia, Lidlidda, Galimuyod, San Emilio, Salcedo, Santa, Gregorio Del Pilar, Tagudin, Bantay, Banayoyo, Burgos and Salcedo were the beneficiaries of the assistance.

Twenty-eight runners joined the event which started in Candon City leading to the peak of Bessang Pass.
