Team Vigan for the gay category and Team Caoayan for the lesbian category lauded as the champions of the LGBTQ Basketball Final Round held at Caoayan Gymnasium this 31 January 2023.

The championship round was attended by Governor Jerry Singson, Caoayan Mayor Germelina Goulart, Vice Mayor Paolo Ancheta, Ilocos Sur’s Special Assistant to the Governor in Sports, Mr. Jester Singson, PSC Regional Sports Coordinator & Provincial Sports Consultant Mr. Edwin Llanes and Provincial Sports Coordinator Ryan Vera Cruz.
