LGBTQ community members took part in the parade around Vigan as part of the celebration of the Ilocos Sur Kannawidan Festival 2023.

This is a celebration for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons to raise awareness in the society as envisioned by Governor Jerry Singson towards equality, diversity and inclusivity.

After the parade, a costume competition was done at the PFLDC wherein Mr. Jefferson Amistad was hailed Champion in the individual category while the Maris ti Ayat Inc. in the group category.
