Governor Jerry Singson together with the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Vigan City Vice Mayor Randy Singson, City Councilors and Provincial Administrator Marlon F. Tagorda met with the new Head of Post of the Consulate of the People’s Republic of China in Laoag City, Consul Ren Faqiang, this November 22, 2022 at Casa Vicente, Vigan City.

The provincial officials and Consul Faqiang had a friendly discussion on the possible partnership and collaboration of the provincial government and China specifically on the programs that would greatly benefit the Chinese community and the people of Ilocos Sur.

Also, Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda discussed to Consul Faqiang the process, management system, services, policies and how the provincial government works.

Governor Singson expressed his gratitude to Consul Ren Faqiang for visiting the province and he looked forward to continue the close and fruitful cooperation established between China and Ilocos Sur.
