In line with the One Ilocos Sur Agenda of Governor Jerry Singson, he extended his listening ears to the Department of Trade and Industry in his Listening Tour program wherein he urged the DTI-Ilocos Sur Provincial Office to help the local community in guiding their small businesses to be sustainable in terms of income-generating.

The govenor also emphasized the importance of interdependence of the different line agencies and the role of Local Government Units (LGU) participatory in assigning its constituent to capacitate various skills enhancement training to be able to establish local economic development that is more responsive and the timely implementation of the different programs.

On the hand, Assistant Regional Director, Grace Lapastora, highlighted the importance of patronizing our Ilocos Sur grown products.

In addition, the DTI shared their new technology that their office has started adopting the Digitalization Technology Innovation through cashless transactions.
