Governor Jerry Singson led the emergency meeting with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for a resource capability assessment in preparation for Typhoon Nika. The Governor ordered a forced evacuation to all affected LGUs and mandated to position the province’s assets & logistics and ensure an immediate response.

112 affected families of Typhoon Marce from Vigan City, Sta. Catalina, Santa, Narvacan and Burgos, Ilocos Sur received family food packs from the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur last 8 November 2024.
