36th National Disaster Resilience Month 2024
As part of the 36th National Disaster Resilience Month 2024, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur led the Stream Stewards: A Community Clean-up Drive Endeavour last 19 July 2024 at the stretch of the Luna River in Burgos. National Government Agencies, C/MDRRMO’s, local stakeholders and volunteers also helped in the clean-up drive.

As part of the celebration of National Disaster Month 2024, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur together with other partner agencies conducted a Growing Resilience: Tree Planting Campaign for Evergreen Unity at Brgy. Marcos, Magsaysay, Santa last 12 July 2024. A total of 500 seedlings were planted on the said area.
Three-day Emergency Management Response Training for the Tourism Sector
As an integral part of disaster management efforts, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur conducted a three-day Emergency Management Response Training for the Tourism Sector. This training aimed to educate and prepare the participants during disasters and other emergency situations and to manage the response when it occurs.
