The Department of Trade and Industry together with some of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the province met with Governor Jerry Singson to seek his support for their participation in the upcoming Manila Fame in October which is an international fair for non-food products. Department of Labor and Employment turned over livelihood assistance.

The Office of Senator Allan Peter Cayetano and Senator Pia Cayetano through the Department of Labor and Employment turned over livelihood assistance to identified parents of child laborers who are residents of Vigan City and Sinait. The assistance included a sari-sari store package, rice retailing project, frozen foods, and goat-raising production.
