The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur is one with the nation in celebrating the 126th Philippine Independence Day.

The celebration with the theme “Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan.” reflects the ideals of our freedom through a resilient history whilst looking towards a promising future.

It was also an opportunity to celebrate the country’s rich history, honor its heroes, and celebrate the hard-won freedom that defines the Filipino nation.

Governor Jerry Singson through SPM Efren Rafanan reiterated the importance of the spirit of independence that inspires us to uphold democracy and unity towards ONE Ilocos Sur.

Vice Governor Ryan Singson represented by SPM Victor Singson, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Gina Cordero, Third Ranches, Art Oandasan, and Constante Benzon, heads and employees of local offices of the various National Government Agencies, and the Department Heads and employees of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur also joined the celebration.
