President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. together with the first family led the flag-raising ceremony and the wreath-laying ceremony at the monument of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal on Wednesday 12 June 2024 during the celebration of the country’s 126th Independence Day.

Governor Jerry Singson along with Candon City Mayor Eric Singson and the city councilors joined in the celebration.
