The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency led the destruction of 94,210.9493 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride and 14,594.29.14 grams of marijuana worth P642,385,770.208 at the Angels Crematorium Public, Cemetery, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur this 8 July 2024.

The dangerous drugs destroyed were voluntarily surrendered by the fishermen of Sta. Maria, Magsingal, San Juan and San Esteban which they found in the territorial waters of the said municipalities.
