The third leg of the Labor Day Learning Festival targeted the local legislators of the cities/municipalities within the province to participate in discussions focused on legislation towards Local Economic Development (LED).

This two-day learning opportunity aims to provide the local legislators with the necessary knowledge tools and best practices for an aligned provincial direction toward Economic Development. By equipping them with valuable insights and strategies, the Governor aimed to enhance their skills in designing policies and Local Economic Development-related legislation.

The event was facilitated by Governor Jerry Singson’s Principal Consultant Dr. Aser Javier, Executive Assistant to the Office of the Vice Governor in Negros Occidental Prof. Ellen Marie Jalandoni, and Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda.
