The Department of Labor and Employment and the University of Northern Philippines signed a Memorandum of Agreement that paves the way for the establishment of a Job Placement Office at the university, creating additional opportunities for its graduates.

This Job Placement Office will be the first in Ilocos Sur.

Governor Jerry Singson represented by SPM Art Oandasa, Assistant Regional Director Honorina Doan-Baga, UNP President Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, DOLE- Ilocos Sur Field Office Provincial Officer Charity Ubilas and officials of UNP attended the event.
