Highest LGU officials of the Philippines along with DILG Secretary Benjur Abalos convened for a League of Provinces of the Philippines Special Meeting at the Plaza Maestro Convention Center. Members gave update and make plans towards sustainable development.

The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur hosted the meeting.
