Dogs and cats also joined the celebration of Ilocos Sur Festival 2024 as they flaunt their own costumes and overflowing cutenness during the Fur Parade.

Governor Jerry Singson reiterated that Ilocos Sur Festival is a festivity not only for the residents of the province but also for pets which are source of companionship and pleasure for most Ilocanos.

“Let us take this activity to strengthen the potential of our pet animals in improving our tourism and the benefits of our connection with them that will foster a sense of community” the Governor said.

Prior to the Fur Parade, free consultation for pets was conducted by the Provincial Veterinary Office.
