First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos led the conduct of the “Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot para sa Lahat” (Lab for All) Program at the Vigan Convention Center this 23 January 2024 where Ilocos Sur residents availed of free medical consultations and services.

“To all of you who are here today for giving us the opportunity to serve you all, maraming salamat. Sama-sama tayong babangon muli.” First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos during the program.

One thousand five hundred target beneficiaries availed free medical consultation, eye checkup with free prescription glasses, dental services, chest x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, different laboratory tests like blood chemistry, hematology, minor surgeries and medicines.

Governor Jerry Singson thanked the First Lady and various concerned agencies for this endeavor. “We are in consonance with the aim of the President and the First Lady to bring health care to the grassroots. Sipupuso nga iyebkasmi iti panagyamanmi kadakayo, Dios unay ti Agngina!,” the Governor during his speech.

The program unites different national agencies, local government units and private sectors towards a common purpose of advocating for a Healthy Pilipinas, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas including DOH, DSWD, DILG, FDA, PAO, DMW, CHED, DA, DILG, TESDA, PCSO and Philhealth.

Along with the First Lady were CHED Chairman J. Prospero De Vera III and TESDA Secretary Suharto Mangudadatu.
