“Now is the time to mobilize ourselves as we are gearing towards a technology-driven world and a disaster-ready province. With robotics, let us prepare for a great One Ilocos Sur”. A part of the message of Governor Jerry Singson delivered by Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda at the Philippine Science High School – Ilocos Region Campus during the Ilocos Sur Robotics Festival.

The festivities kicked off with a two-day ROBOCAMP, an immersive hands-on training and workshop where young minds are captivated by the wonders of robotics, guided by facilitators from Pisay Ilocos Region Campus and Cordillera Administrative Campus.

The second part of the festival will unfold on February 2024, featuring the dynamic ROBORANGERS – a captivating competition that challenges students to craft a prototype for an early warning system and ROBOQUIZ.
