The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment led the awarding of cash insentives to beneficiaries of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES).

Sixty percent from the 12,516 pesos salary for each SPES was provided by the PGIS while the remaining 40 percent will come from DOLE.

Present during the ceremonial awarding were SPM Ronnie Rapanut, Provincial Administrator Marlon F. Tagorda and DOLE-ISFO Provincial Director Charity Ubilas.
