The Department of Social Welfare and Development rolled out the provision of assistance thru the Emergency Cash Transfer Program to 4,833 residents of Caoayan whose houses were totally and partially damaged brought by super typhoon Egay.

Governor Jerry Singson assured Ilocosurians affected by the typhoon that no one will be left behind in terms of aid from the government.

Along with the Governor were Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Efren Rafanan, Third Ranches, and Vice Mayor Paolo Ancheta.
