In celebration of the National Environmemt Month, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur thru the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office initiated coastal clean-up and tree planting to Brgy. Manzante, Miramar, Namalpalan, Pagsanaan Sur and Pagsanaan Norte of Magsingal.

Some 1,250 coconut trees were planted by the employees of PGIS and National Government Agencies along the shorelines as preventive measure to prevent coastal erosion while others cleaned the seaboard adhering to the #BeatPlasticPollution theme.
