The office of Senator Christopher “Bong” Go in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development provided cash assistance through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program to over 1,000 residents of Ilocos Sur at the Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center this 26 June 2023.

In addition to the encouragement of those who were given aid, there was a raffle for bicycles, cellphones and shoes as well as basketball and volleyball.

Officials present during the distribution were Governor Jerry Singson, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, Vigan City Mayor Bonito Singson, Caoayan Mayor Germelina Goulart and Vice Mayor Paolo Ancheta.

Meanwhile, Senator Go along with Governor Singson, Bantay Vice Mayor Samuel Parilla II, Bantay municipal and brgy. officials, DOH Provincial Director Engr. John Foz, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Trina Talaga, Chief of Hospitals, and other health workers visited the Malasakit Center in Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital – Gabriela Silang. Food packs and medicines were distributed to over 150 patients and more than 600 healthcare workers. Also, said officials conducted site inspection at Brgy. Bulag wherein Bantay Super Health Center will be constructed.
