A total of 44 Ilocos Sur trainees participated in a two-day Training of Trainers for the Implementers of Barangay Drug Clearing Program held this 13-14, 2023, at the Provincial Framers Livelihood and Development Center. It was conducted through the collaborative efforts of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur, PDEA RO1, and PDEA Ilocos Sur Provincial Office.

The training aims to capacitate and empower all BDCP implementers for the province of Ilocos Sur and expand their knowledge and skills in implementing BDCP which will be shared transferred down to the implementers of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program in the Barangay Level.

Governor Jerry Singson graced the opening ceremony. In his message, the Governor encouraged the ADACs to pursue the implementation of the Barangay Drug Clearing program and achieve a drug-cleared Province status for Ilocos Sur.
