It’s a sports day again in Ilocos Sur!

The Philippine Sports Commission in partnership with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur launched another edition of the Laro’t Saya sa Parke this 25 February 2023.

The activity was graced by PSC Chairman Richard Bachmann and Governor Jerry Singson. Other officials present were SPM Christopher Baterina and SPM Third Ranches.

The Governor thanked the PSC in bringing such sporting event for the youth to show their skills. Sports played for the Laro’t Saya sa Parke were Zumba, Karatedo, Taekwondo, Pencak Silat, Table Tennis, Chess and Football.

Turn over of sports equipment was also done during the launching. Attendees were amazed by the Performance Exibition of the Pencak Silat Team and the program concluded with a raffle draw.

A total of 307 participants including coaches were present at the park.
