Ilocos Sur will be the host province for the Grassroots Program, Batang Pinoy 2022 National Competition.

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) heads of the different committees met with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur team led by Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda, Provincial Sports Coordinator, Mr. Ryan Vera Cruz and Sports Consultant Mr. Edwin Llanes together with the different stakeholders to tackle the roles, health and safety protocols, identify the playing venues, the billeting areas and other concerns in preparation for the big event.

The said sporting competition will push through on 4-10 December 2022.
