Governor Jerry Singson took part in the celebration of the 104th Lidlidda Founding Anniversary wherein he served as the guest of honor during the OFWs Coronation and Balikbayan Night.

During his speech, the governor reiterated the significance of bringing all balikbayans together in one celebration to give pride and honor to their sacrifices and contributions especially to the Overseas Filipino Workers. He also mentioned his plans for the upcoming 2024 Ilocos Sur Kannawidan Festival in which gathering all Balikbayans in the province will be its highlight, this will dubbed as Intayon Ilocos Sur, The Balikbayan Festival 2024.

As a symbol of gratitude, the local government unit of Lidlidda handed over a certificate of appreciation to the Governor for his unending support to the people of Lidlidda and his cooperation for making the municipality even more progressive.
