Governor Jerry Singson brought the 3rd ONE Ilocos Sur Job Fair and One-Stop Shop at the Sta. Cruz Cultural Tourism and Trade Center this 17 March 2023 thru the Provincial Public Employment and Services Office (PESO) in cooperation with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and PTV Ylocos.

A total of 18 local and five overseas hiring employers and 11 One-Stop-Shop National agencies participated in the said event, while a total of 4,403 number of Job vacancies.

Thirteen lucky applicants were hired on the spot. Job applicants who flocked in the area were 321. While 704 clientele have been served by the participating OSS agencies.

There were 24 beneficiaries of livelihood training on Soap-Making and Hair Cutting, which was conducted simultaneously along with the jobfair.

The event aimed to provide employment opportunities for the job seekers of Ilocos Sur, uplift the economic status of the less privilege through the livelihood program and help the constituents process documentary requirements and provide different services by the national agencies.

Also present during the Job Fair were SPM Ericson Singson, SPM Benjamin Maggay, Sta. Cruz Vice Mayor Virgilio Valle, DOLE Assistant Regional Director Honorina Baga, DOLE Ilocos Sur Field Office Director Charity Ubilas, TESDA Ilocos Sur Provincial Director Joel Pilotin, DTI Provincial Director Rosario Quodala, and Provincial PESO Manager, Mary Madelaine Salvador.
