The Department of Tourism RO1 conducted a seven-day Community Guiding Seminar in collaboration with the Provincial Tourism Development and Promotion Office for the city/municipal tourism employees, tour guides and tourism students to equip them in providing excellent quality service of globally-competitive standards to tourists.

This is a perfect opportunity for the tour operators to hone their skills in tour guiding and in high time for the province to have a pool of licensed tour guides who will be on hand to provide services to a growing number of visitors in the province.

Governor Jerry Singson during his message on the opening program thanked DOT for the partnership in rebuilding tourism which is the backbone of the economy.
