As part of the celebration for the 2022 National Shelter Month, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Regional Office 1 in partnership with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur led by Governor Jerry Singson , held the ribbon cutting and opening of booths at the Plaza Burgos in Vigan City this 20 October 2022.

BCS Group of Companies, New Javier Trading Corporation, and Camella Homes were among the real estate developers to set up booths that showcase their services and products.
