Proudly Ilocos Sur-made products spiced up the 44 feet One Ilocos Sur Christmas Tree just lighted up this 06 December 2022 led by Governor Jerry Singson, Vice Governor Ryan Singson and the rest of the provincial officials together with the mayors of the different municipalities.

Vigan longganisa, balicotia, onions, abel, buri, cacao, burnay, soft broom made of natural fibers, native vinegar , tinubong, bawang, calamansi juice, bolo, mais, pasagad, kuribot, crafts made of buri, bamboo and wood were among the one-town-one-products being used for the decoration of the christmas tree.

The provincial government has turned the Plaza Salcedo and sorroundings of the provincial capitol into a christmas inspired village which is expected to boost tourist arrivals and generate income, as well as promote anew OTOP of the different local governments.

A grand fireworks display has become a firm favourite for all as it was one of the highlights of the celebration.
