As part of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur’s recovery efforts and to provide premium employment opportunities to its local constituents, PGIS through the Public Employment Services Office conducted the 2nd ONE Ilocos Sur Job Fair and One-Stop-Shop.

Governor Jerry Singson graced the event together with SPM Ronnie Rapanut, TESDA Provincial Director Joel Pilotin, DOLE Assistant Regional Director Honorina Baga and DOLE Provincial Director Charity Ubilas.

There were 39 applicants who were HOST (Hired On The Spot) and 42 individuals who were near hired to the said program. Job applicants who flocked in the area were 203. At least 910 local and 147 overseas job vacancies were offered by the participating companies.

The job fair is open to all unemployed, skilled, and unskilled workers, fresh college graduates, graduates of training institutions and displaced workers.
