The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur through the Provincial Health Office conducted the Adolescent Health Summit for the high school students at the University of Northern Philippines this 09 December 2022.

Governor Jerry Singson represented by SPM Third Ranches, Vice Governor Ryan Singson, SPM Ericson Singson ti Committee Chairman of Health and Sanitation, SPM Art Constantine Oandasan, PPSK President Janina Joyce Tabios, Provincial Population Officer Cara Michelle Tabios, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Trina Talaga, DOH Provincial Director Engr. John Foz and UNP President Erwin Cadorna attended the event.

The health summit aimed to address important topics such as Mental Health, HIV/AIDS, Teenage Pregnancy and Drug Awareness that impact the health and the community especially the youth.

Guest Speakers of the summit were Dr. Justin Clyde Gubatan, Family Health Cluster Head, DOH CHD1 and Dr. Jeff Leigh Reburon, ISCC Clinical Instructor and Research Coordinator. While, Dr. La Paz Peredo, Chief Technical Services PHO, Dr. Loida Ranches, CHO Vigan City, Dr. Jeffleigh Reburon and Provincial Administrator’s Office’s Edgar Locquiao Jr., Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Advocate served as Talkshow Panelists.
