The Provincial Library launched the Digital Literacy for Senior Citizens Program as part of the 34th Library and Information Services Month.

The program aimed to educate the elders to become independent, confident, and discerning users of technology and establish older people’s trust and confidence to carry out online activities including the use of social media platforms.

Governor Jerry Singson represented by SPM Christopher Baterina welcomed the 35 brave participants to embrace the technology.

Gift packs from the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur were also distributed for the elders.
