The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur led the commemoration of the 134th birth anniversary of the late President Elpidio Quirino, the first Ilocano President of the Philippines.

Governor Jerry Singson together with the provincial officials joined the floral offering at his monument in Plaza Salcedo followed by a mass and a short program held at the Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center this 16 November 2024.

The late Philippine President’s grandchildren Eddie Quirino and Cory Quirino attended the commemoration.
