Governor Jerry Singson provided an update on the priority projects of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur during the Pammadayaw.

The Governor’s report started with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed of the Vigan Airport development project. A very first commercial flight to touch down Vigan City is way possible few months from now.

Another upcoming big project is the development of the Salomague Seaport. Next in the list is the Engr. Jose Singson Skills Training Center located in Brgy. Guimod, Bantay.

The Governor also reiterated the success of the ONE in Taiwan An Opportunity for New Employment wherein 2,100 were pre-qualified.

Lastly, Governor Jerry Singson launched the biggest festival of the province – the upgraded Ilocos Sur Festival which will be held on 28 January – 14 February 2025.

“In God’s grace, all major events will soon be held at the brainchild of Manong Chavit – the emerging and nearly completed Convention Center and Sports Arena in Brgy. Tamag, Vigan City which we are naming as La Conventione Superiore or LCS.” A part of Governor Jerry Singson’s message adding up on the infrastructure flagship project of the provincial government.
