Governor Jerry Singson and the rest of the provincial officials formally opened the Tawid ken Kultura, Ilocos Sur Trade and Food Expo as part of the celebration of Ilocos Sur Kannawidan Festival 2023. Said trade fair was initiated by DTI-Ilocos Sur to promote the local but high quality products of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The area served as a healthy hub for the 204 exhibitors and sellers. It is filled with furniture, handicrafts, flouriculture nurseries, research-based products and innovations, food and refreshment, dry goods and RTWs.

The opening was highlighted with the ribbon cutting of the Trade Fair showcasing the OTOP’s of every city and municipality of the province.

The occassion was also attended by DTI R01 Regional Director Grace Falgui- Baluyan, DTI Ilocos Sur Provincial Director Rosario Quodala and OIC DTI Ilocos Norte, Amelia Galvez.
