The newly-built multi-purpose gym of Basug Elementary School in Santa, Ilocos Sur was inaugurated today, 26 June 2025.

Said school can now enjoy an all-weather facility for their activities provided by the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur. It could also act as a temporary shelter during calamities.

Governor Jerry Singson, Santa Mayor Jesus Bueno, Jr., and former Vice Mayor Edgar Tejada attended the inauguration.
