Governor Jerry Singson led the inauguration and blessing of the Ilocos Sur Badminton Center last 19 June 2025 at the Quirino Stadium, Bantay, Ilocos Sur. The center will offer facilities for both recreational and competitive play, with options for coaching, tournaments, and casual games.

The event was also attended by SPM Third Ranches, SPM Art Oandasan, Atty. Jannah Singson, Provincial Sports Development Officer Jonathan Pugrad, Sports Coordinator Edwin Llanes, and Rev. Fr. Danilo Martinez.
