The five-day Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction into the Local Development, Contingency, and Emergency Preparedness Planning Process through the Use of REDAS Software for Ilocos Sur was conducted at Hotelinda Suites, Vigan City, this 21-25 April 2025.

The event was facilitated by the Department of Science and Technology. Participants were selected PGIS employees, LGU planners, LGU DRRMOs, and national government agency representatives. Governor Jerry Singson, through PDRRM Officer Rhon Arquelada and DOST-PHIVOLCS Director Teresito Bacolcol, attended the program.
