Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda, representing Governor Jerry Singson, served as a Plenary Speaker during the Policy Fiesta 2025. This event, organized by the National Economic Development Authority Regional Office 1, was held last 23 January 2025 at Thunderbird Resorts, San Fernando City, La Union.

In his message, Governor Jerry Singson emphasized the importance of culture and the arts in community life. He stated, “Ilocos Sur stands as a testament to how culture and the arts breathe life into a community. Our cultural expressions are not merely remnants of the past—they are living and evolving aspects of who we are today.”

Best practices on good governance and sustainable development, especially among local government units were shared by various local chief executives, regional directors from national line agencies, public servants and stakeholders of Region 1.
