Underscoring the municipality of Caoayan’s commitment to improve its economic and industrial efforts, a blessing and inauguration of the Caoayan Slaughterhouse, Training Institute and Assessment Center was conducted last 8 January 2025 at Brgy. Nansuagao, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.

Governor Jerry Singson along with Congressman Ronald Singson, Caoayan Mayor Germelina Goulart, Vice Mayor Paolo Ancheta, National Meat Inspection Service RO1 Technical Director Fernando Lontoc, DILG Provincial Director Randy Dela Rosa, and TESDA Provincial Director Larry Dizon, graced the event.
