The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur provided hot meals, family kits and sleeping kits to the affected families of Typhoon Nika in Santa, Ilocos Sur. Governor Jerry Singson through Mr. Jester Singson and PSWD Officer Kathleen Balbuena led the distribution.

Governor Jerry Singson and Vigan City Mayor Jose “Bonito” Singson Jr. attended the Re-opening and Blessing of Jollibee Bantay. The Governor in his message extended his congratulations as the store re-opening will contribute to boosts economic activity in the said municipality.
Preparation for Typhoon Nika.
Governor Jerry Singson led the emergency meeting with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for a resource capability assessment in preparation for Typhoon Nika. The Governor ordered a forced evacuation to all affected LGUs and mandated to position the province’s assets & logistics and ensure an immediate response.
