The Department of Interior and Local Government RO1 has conferred the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur as 1st Placer in the CY 2024 SubayBAYANI Awards (Provincial LGU Category) for promoting excellence in monitoring and implementation or government projects.

Governor Jerry Singson represented by SPM Doc Art Oandasan received the plaque of recognition this 19 November 2024 at EM Royalle Hotel, San Juan, La Union.

Vigan City bagged 3rd Place in the City Category while 10 LGUs of Ilocos Sur are the top 10 for the province also vested recognition for its notable performance in the result-based monitoring and evaluation of local government unit (LGU) infrastructure project and outstanding performance in local project implementation to wit:
