The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur in partnership witn the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) collaborated on the Bigyang-Halaga, Bangon, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (BBMSME) initiative in an effort to support MSMEs.

Provincial LEDIPO Lovey Ann Taaca, Business Permits Licensing Officers (BPLO) and manufacturing industries in the province attended the Orientation on FDA Licensing Requirements and Food Safety for MSMEs in Ilocos Sur this 16 September 2024.

The program aims to help participants in furnishing technical assistance as well as capacity-building measures to equip and make them competitive. Aside from that, it also ensures safety, quality, and efficacy of the products in the area. In order to comply with FDA requirements, the initiative makes the registration procedure more accessible and easier.
